Software Development and Requirements
Our approach for undertaking customised software development and gathering Customer Requirements primarily follows the following key steps:- An initial on-site meeting to clarify and discuss core business needs, technology concerns, system compatibility requirements etc.
- We then provide an initial scoping and pricing document clarifying the software development scope, functionality requirements, recommendation of approach, and estimate pricing.
- We undertake a follow-up meeting (in person or by phone) to further discuss key points arising from the document and answer any further questions/concerns etc.
- We gain agreement on the proposed solution and determine the roll out and implementation approach, e.g. modular roll out versus full development roll out.
- We categorise the software requirements into core modules and proceed to further define individual module specifications etc.
- We develop wireframe diagrams and undertake a review meeting with clients to ensure all functionality and system requirements are captured.
- We then proceed to signoff development requirements with client.
- We undertake software development, testing, and software roll out.
- We provide ongoing IT system maintenance as and when required.
Use of Existing Product
If, during our initial discussions, it appears that one of our existing products will fit your business, we will definitely recommend it. Use of an existing product gives you a rapid fix to your business problem by using an existing, tested and stable product. Our existing products are very well suited to New Zealand Manufacturing, Stock Control, Sales and Service industries.However, if our existing products do not fit with your business we will discuss the various customised software solutions that may be available.
