Production Scheduling made easy!
Freeman Software’s Manufacturing (Production Control) System provides a single 'point of truth' for all the information you need about the goods you manufacture. The system is tightly linked with Freeman Software's Inventory Control module which holds details on the inventory which may be produced and each item's Bill of Materials.
A single point of truth is valuable because any changes can be controlled and they are instantly visible throughout your company. You always know that what you see is accurate and up to date.
This system was initially written for a leading New Zealand Manufacturer of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG). Amongst other approvals, the client has HACCP and FDA approval for their processes and products.

Production Scheduling
This screen is used to view the production scheduled for each of your production lines.
Each task for a given day is shown on the diary list. The time for each task includes setup, production and cleanup times for the job. These are set for each inventory item on each line where it can be manufactured. For example one line may require more setup but production may be faster when setup is complete.
Of course, when you double-click a task your can change the quantities produced and/or the time that the job is to start. Production receipt, when a job is complete, is also done from this screen.
